COVID, COVID, COVID!!
Covid-19 has been at the forefront of every news channel, every paper, and discussion for the past 6 months. With so much information it's easy to be overwhelmed and get lost in worry and despair. While death tolls and positive cases rise and fall daily, the one constant is what can be done to help prevent the spread. Social distance, face masks, and avoid large crowds in an indoor setting. This is all the information you need. You don't need to watch one more news show, read one more article, or have one more time sucking conversation. Just follow those guidelines and you are doing all you can to keep yourself and others safe. Now that we are doing all we can to be safe, we can focus on doing all we can to conquer Covid-19. How do we do this? Simple, we do not let this thing rule our lives. While we have needed to adjust our lives, we do not need to stop living! Take back control of your life! You had goals, dreams, and aspirations before this, right? They are still there! Do not let your greatness be sidelined by Covid-19. You are stronger than that, you are better than that, and you deserve more than that. How it's done: 1. Make a promise to yourself that you will come out of this a better person than you were when it started. Take advantage of the gift of time you have been given. With many events and social gatherings on pause there are less distractions to take up your time. Use this time work on yourself. What have you always wanted to learn? What physical and mental goals have you been wanting to tackle? What about financial goals, have you always wanted to start investing or create a business? Pick one Goal, write it down, plan it out, and do not come up for air until it's done! 2. Focus on what you have. It's easy to get caught up in the things we don't have or can't do, especially now. Do not fall for that negative, soul sucking trap! When you hear a conversation going this way, change the subject. If you can't change the subject, change your company. If your mind starts to wander towards these thoughts, steer yourself back to the Positive. Doing this will help you stay motivated. Thinking of all the cool stuff you have, along with the great family and friends in your life helps keep you focused. Focusing on the positive helps you keep your drive and energy alive day in and day out. Focusing on the negative usually leads to a pile of losing scratch tickets and repeats of The Office on Netflix. 3. Achieve and Reset. You have achieved your goal! Once achieved this goal becomes a habit. A habit is something you do in your daily life without much thought. There fore, we need to reset and focus on a new goal. The same as the first, then you repeat, repeat, repeat. Imagine if the top three goals in your life became a daily occurrence. How much different would your life be? Would you be better off? I bet you would. That's how you beat this thing! Do not let it take anything from you. Go after this time with fierce determination and grit. Look at all you have done in your life, all that you have been through and overcome. Your still here now and you will be after this is over. #conquercovid

I started and sold my own company twice ( small businesses but the experience was valuable), I've dabbled in real estate, been an Ebay reseller, and also spent many years in management roles which is my current stream of income ( plus a few side streams I've put together).
